Where to Find the IFSC Code of a Bank?

IFSC Code is an acronym for the Indian Financial System Code consists of an 11-digit alphanumeric code with each set of code contains some information about the bank branch. First, 4-digit is the bank code followed by the second set which is 0 for future use when the bank branch number will increase and the last 6-digit is the bank branch code. It is a very use full system introduced and regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) this code facilitates the clearance office (RBI) as well as the fund transferor to locate the receiver bank branch and make the fund transfer easy and fast.

Bank Passbook

Bank Passbook is also a document where you can find the IFSC Code of the Bank Branch. It is mentioned in the first page of the passbook where you have your all the account details.
